I- Dialogue

A: Warm up

1- Brainstorming some words about TV programs.

B: Teaching

1- Asking students to listen to the conversation on page 30.  (book closed)

2- Asking some general questions such as: How many people are there in this conversation?

3- Letting students listen again and asking them some detailed question. (book closed)

4- Listening and repeating. (book opened)

5- Practicing new words’ meaning and pronunciation. (book opened)

6- Doing read aloud and pair work.

C: Post-teaching

1- Asking the students to answer question on page 30.

2- Asking the students to work in a group to personalize the conversation.

3- Asking the students to memorize it for next session and making a new conversation about themselves.

II- Simple past Grammar (regular verbs)

A: Warm up

1- Reviewing simple present tense statement, negative and question.

2- Reviewing adverb of time in present

B: Teaching

1- writing a model sentence on the board then cleaning it after two minutes (book closed)

2- doing oral repetition with different subjects and verbs(book closed)

3- Practicing Oral Drills A, B, C (Page 31-32). (book closed)

4- Doing Oral Drills D (Page 32). (book opened)

C: Post-teaching

1- group practicing with worksheet provided for the class

2- Writing some sentences in simple present tense on the board and asking students to change them into past and visa versa  

2- asking students to do "Write it down" on page 32-34 as homework

نکات قابل توجه اساسی که در تدریس این درس باید مورد تاکید قرار گیرد :

1- Simple past is used to show completed actions in the past.

2- regular verbs get “ed” for being past.

3- “ed” has three pronunciation forms: /id/; /d/; /t/.
